Principal

Rochelle Moncarz is a Principal of the firm with a passion for community-based work. She has a strong interest in how the built environment influences our day-to-day lives, and specifically, how it shapes the way we live, work and learn. Her approach is deeply rooted in collaboration.

As an Architect and LEED AP® with over two decades of practice, Rochelle has successfully led complex urban and rural projects for long-term care, educational, Indigenous, institutional and corporate clients. She works alongside diverse stakeholder and project teams to deliver transformative buildings that create positive change in their communities. Whether designing a new zero carbon, culturally safe Indigenous long-term care home or a new student-centered secondary school, she employs creative design strategies to facilitate better outcomes / support contemporary approaches to care and teaching within timeless and inspiring spaces.

Fun Fact: Rochelle can often be seen commuting to and from work on the City’s Cycle Tracks in her ultra high viz reflective jacket.
