Secondary School
Brampton’s Catholic francophone community has long sent secondary students outside the community to be able to continue their Catholic French-language education. This new 410-student school for Grades 7–12 brings a full secondary curriculum closer to home, including a breadth of technological education programming rarely found in a school of this size.
The two-storey school organizes student life around a central Atrium and Cafeteria that connect the main entrance to outdoor spaces beyond. Wide corridors function as natural social areas. A glazed bridge with integrated seating overlooks the Atrium, enhancing visual connections between floors. The Chapel opens directly off this central space, woven into daily school life rather than set apart from it.
Brick, stone, and wood connect the school to the established residential character of the surrounding Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. The design extends programming outdoors, with a FIFA-sized soccer pitch, outdoor classrooms, and a café courtyard serving as extensions of the school’s academic and social life.
Technological Education
Students may pursue courses in transportation technology, design technology, welding, and cosmetology alongside traditional academics, supported by science labs and athletic facilities. This range of technological education programming serves diverse student interests and post-secondary pathways.
