The design for Tiger Jeet Singh Public School focuses on maximizing natural light throughout the building including classrooms, administration areas, circulation and recreation spaces. This was achieved by increasing the size of glazing, using a single-loaded corridor and clerestory windows where appropriate, as well as installing light wells.

The building’s form and organization prioritizes student safety by providing two entrances with two dedicated kindergarten drop-off zones. An ‘H’-pattern circulation was used to create an enclosure for the eco-garden, a green space visible from the art and music rooms. The materials of the building were selected to be compatible with the neighbouring development with the use of brick, precast and ledge stone for accents. The school has a GFA of 71,000 sq.ft. and is built for 700 students.
