Two new elementary schools for the TCDSB in North York, St. Fidelis CS and St. Matthias CS, will replace aging buildings with vibrant new facilities specifically designed to support the Board’s 21st century learning objectives.
They include flexible Learning Commons located throughout the school, informal breakout spaces, outdoor classrooms, and abundant natural light and ventilation.
Together, these new schools will support their communities with safe, comfortable, and bright learning environments for over 1,100 school age children and 137 children in new purpose-built child care facilities.
