The Light Korean Presbyterian Church was built on vacant land for 2,000 attendants and houses a 1,773-seat sanctuary. Accessory facilities include an education wing of numerous classrooms; a 5,260 square foot fellowship hall with a full commercial kitchen; a 6,650 square foot gymnasium with basketball nets; floor sockets for various sports nets; and a 248-seat chapel.

The project required complex approvals including the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s approval as well as the Greater Toronto Airports Authority’s approval for height and noise transmission factors. Municipal access from Derry Road also had to be widened with a road widening approval from the Region of Peel.

This project was started under the firm’s former name of Mekinda Snyder Partnership.
